The structure of EUDORA portal

EUDORA Web site consists of a general portal www.eudoraportal.org (for the members of EUDORA steering group) and six sub-portals (one for each EUDORA module):

• BIP: Analysis of educational policies in a comparative educational perspective (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/BIP)
• IMUN: Innovative mother tongue didactics of less frequently spoken languages in a comparative perspective (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/IMUN)
• ALHE: Active Learning in Higher Education (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/ALHE)
• LEARN: eLEARNing in Higher Education (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/Learn)
• MATHED: Researching the teaching and learning of mathematics (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/MATHED)
• SI: Researching social inclusion/exclusion and social justice in education (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/SI)

Each participant of an EUDORA Intensive Programme has to register him/herself as member of the portal.

How to apply for participation in MATHED Intensive Programme 2005?

1) First, you have to register yourself as a member of MATHED portal. In order to register, go to the MATHED portal (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/MATHED) and click on the link "New user?" on the bottom of the left menu. Fill in the registration form. You will be asked to submit the following data fields in this form:

• First and last name
• Username for this portal (required field)
• E-mail address (required field)
• University you are affiliated with
• Contact data: Address, City, Postcode, Country, Phone
• Day of arrival to Tallinn (preferrably Sunday, July 3rd), day of departure (preferrably July 13th)
  
• Room type (Single/Double) - Erasmus grant will cover the acommodation costs for double rooms, switching to single room might involve some extra pay by participant
  
• Eudora Module you are willing to attend (MATHED)
• Other (requests regarding the diet, accommodation, travel etc)
• Title of your research paper and workshop
  
• Presentation format (paper session 45 min, workshop 90 min, double workshop 180 min)
• Password (required field)
• You could let the portal to send your password to you via e-mail (strongly suggested)

2) Second, log in to LEARN portal (http://www.eudoraportal.org/modules/MATHED) and specify your preferences. Click on the link 'my preferences', then on 'Personal preferences' in the upper menu. Select from the pull-down menu Kupu for your text editor and upload your photo. Don't forget to save your preferences before moving on. 

You will receive the notification of acceptance from the MATHED staff by e-mail before May 6th.
