Who may participate?

• Each participation institution (Linz/AT, Oldenburg/DE, Tallinn/EE, Riga/LV, Kaunas/LT, Ljubljana/SI, Sheffield/UK) may send 1 staff (for 6 working days) and (usually) 2-3 students (for the entire time)

• Students should have taken a first degree (after four years of undergraduate studies)

• Students are expected to give a workshop (up to 3 hours) preferably on their doctoral thesis or other recent research work in relation to issues described below

• Staff is expected to give a workshop and to act as “chair of the day”

Which costs will be covered?

With support of the European Commission (Socrates/Erasmus) it will be possible to cover the following costs:

• Travel costs from nearest airport to Riga

• Transfer: airport – hostel – airport.

• Bed (double), breakfast and lunch

How to register to a seminar?

Send registration form from (attached) with name, e-mail and provisional title of your presentation / workshop no later than 30^th April 2005 to dainuvite.bluma@lu.lv

Which deadlines have to be considered?

• Submission of the registration form till 30^th April 2005

• Submission of the abstract of the contribution till 31^st May 2005

• Submission of the full paper and the workshop outline (and posting it into the Content and Learning Management System of the seminar) latest 1^st June 2005
