ERASMUS Intensive Programme ALHE – Active Learning in Higher Education
Riga/Latvia, 10th – 21st July 2005
The Intensive programme will take place in Riga/ Latvia and has been scheduled from 10th July till 21st July. It will take place in the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the University of Latvia which is the largest university in Latvia. It is situated in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The Faculty is in a nice green area surrounded by birch trees and pines. It is about 20 min (by train) till the beautiful town on the sea – Jurmala and about 15 minutes (by bus, train) till the city centre. It should provide:
- An enriching “powerful learning environment”
- For this all-European Intensive Programme with participants from 7 European countries
- On the challenging issue “Active Learning in Higher Education”.
